Music Hub - Cambridgeshire

Cambridgeshire Music is the county hub for music education and arts therapies. 

They make high quality music happen all across Cambridgeshire for young people and families – both in and out of school. They organise thousands of music lessons, bands and projects in all styles of music, as well as arts therapies for all ages. They also work in partnership with hundreds of professional musicians and organisations.

SEND - Using Music to Develop Interactions & Play
This workshop will look at how we can use music to develop interactions and play, based on what we can learn from how a mother interacts with her baby. During the in-person workshop at our base in Histon you will have the opportunity to try out new techniques and ideas through a practical workshop, and the option of a follow-up session to share experiences and feedback.

Network Meeting - Secondary Music
Open to all staff teaching and leading music with primary and secondary aged children, our termly network meetings are an opportunity to share ideas, discuss new initiatives, and meet colleagues. Meeting topics will include, but are not limited to:

  • Recent local and national music developments
  • Opportunities to share resources and good practice
  • Signposting to further CPD
  • Future developments of music provision in our area
