Hub in the community

An update from Paul Barraclough - Engagement Lead

Paul Barraclough picture

Throughout this term, I have been actively engaged in promoting the work of the Hub in supporting professional development for teachers and leaders across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. One of my key achievements has been making more leaders and teachers aware of the Hub's support for the golden thread of professional development, which includes training for initial teacher trainees, Early Career Teachers, and leaders in specialist and leadership national professional qualifications, as well as wider professional development. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to share and promote the Hub's latest free, SEND professional development programme, which supports teachers and leaders in implementing Ordinarily available Provision, and I am thrilled to see it being received with such enthusiasm. I have also had the pleasure of meeting with Headteacher groups across the region and have more visits planned for the summer term. Of particular interest will be the promotion of Trust Wide NPQ training programmes in liaison with the Hub and Teach East, which I am looking forward to supporting.

Upcoming Summer Term Meetings Paul will be attending:

  • Bottisham Circle Heads - 24th April
  • Strategy Group - 18th May
  • Cambridgeshire Primary Heads 30th June
