Make a Difference

Becoming a teacher can allow you to make a real difference to the lives of our red apple fruit on four pyle booksyoung people, inspiring them to transform into ambitious individuals. Teachers are also able to enjoy a sociable work environment, sharing best practices with one another to create a positive impact in the classroom.
Teaching can be a challenging profession but there is no doubt that it is one of the most rewarding. After gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), you will receive a minimum starting salary of £30,000.
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are also exceptional places to train to become a qualified teacher, allowing you to develop your career as well as leading a fulfilling life outside of work.
Home to a host of fantastic Primary, Secondary, and Special Schools, our region provides plenty of opportunities for aspiring teachers, supported by experienced teachers and schools.
